Below images courtesy of Mary Anne Roeske, GVCC.  The photos were taken in July of 2013.  We live in the Upper Peninsula and know that there are many wonders that we overlook close to home.  So we loaded our son’s boat with the grandkids and the camera and spent the day exploring the beauty of the Pictured Rocks, off Munising Bay in Michigan’s Beautiful Upper Peninsula!

A Tall Ship sailing on Lake Superior near Duluth, MN, in 2010.  These old sailing ships visited Duluth a few summers ago and living in Minnesota we went to see them.  They sailed them on the East Coast and through the chain of Great Lakes.
