Coast redwoods, the tallest trees in the world today, range from central California to southern Oregon. Most of these giants stand between 200 and 300 feet tall, though they can reach 350 feet, they live 200 years or longer.

Image courtesy of Bob Martin, GVCC. On a trip back from Washington state we took the coast route to N. California and spent some time in the Redwoods. I tried to make a picture that showed the size of the trees.
